Our vet has placed Buddy at early 20"s (22), and he stands 14.3 hands. Works in a halter or a bit. He does not like a mechanical hackamore but would be good with a shank bit, a bit less bridle, a Bosal, or a side pull. He is easy to catch, lead, ties, loads easy in a trailer. Stands for the farrier. Buddy is not a beginner's horse. He would be fine for a handy child with confidence or a beginner/intermediate adult. He has a pep in his step when he first starts out that could intimidate a rider with little experience. He is light sided, soft mouthed, and responsive. Buddy is a well rounded partner. In his past life, he has roped cattle in the pastures, worked in the feedlots or quietly traversed trails. Buddy is retired from the hard work and is looking for his perfect trail partner. He is UTD on farrier work, vaccines, deworming and has a current Coggins. His adoption fee is $1000 and requires a contract. Please go to our "Forms" tab. There you will find our downloadable Policy and Procedures paperwork and an Adoption Application. The Policy and Procedures paperwork is yours to keep and you can return the completed Adoption Application to us at rangerslegacy@hotmail.com or through the mail to the address on the form. Please contact us with any questions or to schedule an appointment to meet Buddy.
