EBONY

Ebony is a 16 hand, 21 year old, Black TB gelding. He was rescued from a  hoarding situation where he was not cared for correctly. He was extremely underweight, had unkempt hooves, chronic abscesses in his front feet and thin soles from standing in manure for many years. It has taken almost a year of rehabilitation, but Ebony's feet are better now. Ebony is broke to ride and would need an intermediate rider. He is easy to catch, lead, load and tie. He rides nicely in a trailer and is easy to bath. He stands for the farrier and, due to some arthritis in his right front, he wears front shoes. Ebony also has a small bone spur in his left front foot. Both of these conditions are manageable with joint meds. His adoption fee is $800 and requires a contract. Please go to our "Forms" tab.
